Wrinkle Relaxations with Botulinum Toxin
Botulinum toxin is a naturally occurring toxin which affects the connection between a nerve and muscle fibre temporarily paralysing the muscle. In aesthetic practice, this paralysis prevents the appearance of dynamic skin wrinkling and allows skin wrinkles to soften or, if used as a preventative measure, to not appear at all.
Treatment effect is variable depending on a number of factors but most treatments will last for 3-6 months.
